Corinthians have initiated direct contacts with representatives of Botafogo striker Savarino as part of planning for the upcoming transfer window. The conversations do not yet constitute an official proposal, but they indicate concrete interest from the São Paulo club.
Botafogo considers releasing Venezuelan
Behind the scenes, Botafogo does not rule out negotiating with the player and analyzes different agreement formats. An exchange involving a Corinthians athlete appears to be a possibility, even if the name is still treated with reservation by the parties.
If negotiations progress, Savarino would have an estimated salary of around R$800,000 per month, a figure that requires careful evaluation by the black and white financial department.
Transfer ban remains an obstacle
Before making a signing, Corinthians must resolve outstanding issues with FIFA that prevent the registration of new players. The board is working to resolve the situation and provide reinforcements.
