Four players with professional team experience were entered into the competition
Corinthians released the entry list for the Copinha 2026. Among those listed, Timão included athletes who have already participated in training or matches with the main team. They are: Thomas Lisboa, Gui Amorim, Luiz Gustavo Bahia and João Vitor Jacaré. The last two even played for professionals.
On the other hand, striker Gui Bom, one of the strong points of the under-20 team, was injured in training this Tuesday (30) at CT Doutor Joaquim Grava and is expected to be excluded from the team. Corinthians have until January 2 to send the final list to the FPF (São Paulo Football Federation), by which time the striker’s replacement must be known.
Additionally, the list did not include right back Gabriel Capira, cCaptain of the Under-20s last season, who continues to nurse a stress fracture in his tibia. Midfielder Yago, who recently returned from injury, is also not among those listed by coach William Batista for the tournament.
Corinthians start in Copinha this Saturday (3), at 2:45 p.m. (Brasilia time), against Trindade (GO), in group 8. Luverdense (MT) and XV de Jaú complete the table. The group’s headquarters city is Jaú, located in the center-west of São Paulo.
