Timão’s board considers that the values presented by Milan are not close to the ideal to negotiate the goalkeeper
Corinthians have refused an offer from Milan for goalkeeper Hugo Souza. The black and white committee considered that the undisclosed values presented by the Italian club were too low to release the player. Furthermore, Timão has no intention of trading one of the main names in his squad.
The Lance portal published information about the offer. In addition to unsatisfied values, the goalkeeper plans to leave Corinthians with the aim of competing in the World Cup. Hugo is going through the best phase of his career and has already been on Carlo Ancelotti’s list three times, playing one match.
Hugo Souza has a contract with Corinthians until the end of 2029. In fact, the club holds 60% of the goalkeeper’s economic rights. The player is sentenced to a fixed dismissal fine of 100 million euros, or around 652 million reais at the current price.
