Costa Adeje Tenerife could not get past the draw even though it deserved better against Dux Logroño (1-1). The warriors, who took the advantage from the start thanks to Natalia Ramos, dominated the match from start to finish, but it was difficult for them to overcome the solid wall of a Riojan team which took advantage of one of its rare arrivals in the area to equalize in the final straight.
Costa Adeje Tenerife carried the brunt of the match from the start, although it was difficult for them to find spaces to do damage in the early stages. Until the 12th minute, Natalia Ramos collected a dead ball in the area after a series of bounces and sent a shot into the net that slid into the center of the goal, near the crossbar.
The scenario barely changed after the goal and the Tenerife team continued to dominate their rival, but they hardly disrupted the visiting team. A soft header from Bicho caught without complications by the goalkeeper, and a subsequent strike from Castelló on the edge of the goal that approached the base of the post, were the highlight until the intermission, which was reached with few approaches from the Riojans.
The second half started in a similar fashion, with Eder Maestre taking the initiative with the ball in his possession and DUX Logroño responding with defensive solidity. The attempts of Amani and Castelló did not generate any danger for the frame of Miralles, who barely had to make an effort to avoid a greater difference.
A shot from Morcillo from the edge of the area, very high, was the first notable action of the Logroño team. In the response, Elba Vergés had the first clear shot into the area, but he did not find a goal. Later, it would be the new Ouzraoui who would cross a left-footed shot obliquely to the left.
It was not until the final straight that Héctor Blanco’s team dared to take a step forward and slightly lengthen their lines. Thus, in the 77th minute, the newly incorporated Laura Martínez hooked a ball from the right that Pau Rubio, also coming off the bench, controlled in the heart of the area, finishing next to the post to restore equality.
Despite the tie, the warriors did not stop looking for victory and pushed their rival back into the zone during the final stages. Koko tries his luck inside the area and comes up against the intervention of the goalkeeper; while Ouzraoui shot most clearly from a free kick that was pushed off the crossbar. Despite the final harassment, the score of 1-1 did not change.
