Cristiano Ronaldo won the award for best player in the Middle East this Sunday (28/12), awarded by the Globe Soccer Awards. During his speech, the Portuguese star said he wanted to reach 1000 goals.
“I want to reach 1,000 goals, and I will do it without injury, God willing,” Cristiano Ronaldo said.

Currently at Al-Nassr, in Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo is close to his thousandth goal. The striker, who has found the net 956 times in his career, scored twice last Saturday (27/12), during his team’s 3-0 victory against Al Akhdoud.

Cristiano Ronaldo won his third consecutive award for best player in the Middle East at the Globe Soccer Awards this Sunday (28/12).
In 2025, he beat Benzema (Al-Ittihad), Riyad Mahrez (Al-Ahli) and Salem Al-Dawsari (Al-Hilal) for the award.
