Chapters released between December 15 and 20 delve deeper into revelations and hidden interests
In subsequent chapters of Dona de Mim, Ellen’s reappearance triggers family and legal conflicts. The custody dispute over Sofia and the suspicions surrounding Ellen and Hudson drive the plot forward throughout the week.
Monday (12/15) – Chapter 196
Hudson discovers it was stolen by Demetrius and Ellen becomes worried. The two ask Igor to keep the story about Hudson’s son. Rosa is delighted to meet her great-grandchildren. Samuel sees Ellen, who claims to have been recognized by Abel’s son. Sofia goes to the church with Léo and Samuel to take a photo that reminds her of her mother. Father Paulo tells Ellen that Sofia is there. The chapter ends with the reunion between mother and daughter.
Tuesday (12/16) – Chapter 197
Ellen and Sofia are delighted with their reunion. Leo and Samuel demand explanations, and everyone is surprised to discover that Ellen is alive. Ellen confesses to Father Paulo and claims to love his daughter. Igor lets a secret slip during a match, which increases Léo and Samuel’s distrust. Finally, Igor says they can go to Portugal.
Wednesday (12/17) – Chapter 198
Leo questions Ellen about her supposed move to Portugal. Ayla comments to Samuel that the mood is jealous. Hudson and Ellen begin planning how to approach Sofia’s money. Suspicious, Léo and Samuel decide to investigate the couple. Igor reveals to Sofia that he is not Hudson’s son and Leo realizes something is wrong.
Thursday (12/18) – Chapter 199
Ellen and Igor try to outsmart Sofia. Ellen confronts Leo about his suspicions. Hudson seeks out Marilita to find out how to get his hands on Sofia’s money, while Ellen claims to want to get closer to her real daughter. Sofia and Igor staged a prank on Vivian, who ends up hitting Leo. Vivian tells Samuel that Ellen and Hudson have filed for custody.
Friday (12/19) – Chapter 200
Leo scolds Sofia and Igor. Marilita guides Hudson and Ellen to rehearse a moving story for the hearing with the judge. Vivian and Samuel tell Leo about the court summons. Hudson introduces Marilita to Samuel and Davi and reveals to Ellen that the factory is on the verge of bankruptcy.
Saturday (12/20) – Chapter 201
Ellen tells Hudson that she wants to be with Sofia even without access to money. Vivian is uncomfortable with Leo and Samuel’s closeness. Sofia discovers that Ellen is not pregnant and agrees to keep it a secret. Hudson, Ellen and Igor carry out a coup d’état.
