
A man was arrested this Sunday afternoon (28/12) for trying to attack the seller of an ice cream parlor of a fast food chain inside a shopping center in the city of Santa Bárbara d’Oeste, in the interior of São Paulo.
According to the Tivoli Shopping press service, “the project security team was immediately called and took the necessary measures to control the situation and assist the parties involved.”
The military police and the municipal guard of Santa Bárbara d’Oeste were called and arrested the suspect, who had to be protected to avoid being lynched on the spot. Authorities are still investigating the motive for the attack.

In a statement, the shopping center reaffirms that “it rejects all forms of violence and reaffirms its commitment to the safety, respect and integrity of customers, tenants, employees and service providers.”
The administration of the establishment also stressed that “the file has been transmitted to the competent authorities for appropriate measures”.
