Actor Dado Dolabella took to social networks this Saturday afternoon (12/20) to explain himself after being involved in a road accident on Avenida Doutor Ricardo Jafet, in the Ipiranga neighborhood, in São Paulo. In the early hours of the morning, he allegedly crashed his car into the vehicle of an application driver and fled shortly after. According to witnesses, he was drunk.

On Instagram, he reacted and claimed that the accusations against him were not true. “I need to clarify the accident that happened to me yesterday, which says I ran away and that’s not true,” he began. “I was leaving the drive-thru and I hadn’t even gotten onto the road yet when the other car came and hit my car,” he said.
According to him, the driver of the vehicle was impaired. “The car that arrived had such dark insulation that I couldn’t see anything. So probably because of that insulation, he didn’t see me, he hit my car, got out of the car blaming me, yelling, talking loudly,” he continued.
“I asked him to lower his voice to speak more comfortably, he continued to get angry, to shout, to want to attract the attention of others in the street. I had my young daughter, a teenager, in the car with me and she was very afraid of all this,” continued the actor.

Dado Dolabella continued his outburst and said he left the scene to protect his daughter. “And then, to protect her, with the situation remaining there, totally, you know, dangerous, it was impossible to know what the altered boy’s actions would be at that point…I took him and went to file an accident report. But thank God there are cameras on the scene and the truth will come out.”
According to police information, the vehicle hit by the actor’s car suffered damage to the front side. After the collision, the app driver remained at the scene, while Dado Dolabella fled. According to the victim’s statement, Dado left the department at high speed and collided with his car. The celebrity seemed drunk.
