Residents of the Federal District who are behind on their electricity bills have until this Wednesday (12/31) to take advantage of the last opportunity in 2025 and catch up on their debts.
On this date, Neoenergia will end a special negotiation campaign which offers facilities to those who wish to regularize the situation.
The action allows customers to obtain significant discounts, reduced interest and fines, in addition to having the possibility of paying the amount in installments. In some cases, the debt can be reduced by up to 90%, significantly reducing the total payable.

The campaign targets low-voltage residential, commercial, low-income and rural consumers who have overdue debts for more than a year.
To conclude the contract, the customer can choose between the online service, on the Neoenergia website, or in person, in the distributor’s stores. Payment must be made by Pix or credit card, with the possibility of dividing the amount up to 21 times, depending on the conditions.
Neoenergia warns that as the deadline expires, the number of people seeking help increases significantly. It is therefore recommended not to wait until the last day, in order to avoid queues and service delays.
