The driver of the van involved in the accident that killed singer Mauri Lima, brother of Chitãozinho and Xororó, told the Federal Highway Police (PRF) that he suffered a “momentary power outage” while driving.
According to information from TV Tribuna, the PRF confirmed that this sudden loss of consciousness caused him to lose control of the vehicle, causing the collision.

Mauri Lima died last Sunday (7/12) in an accident on the Régis Bittencourt highway (BR-116), in Miracatu (SP). At 55, he was returning home after performing in Curitiba on Saturday evening (12/06). The accident happened around 2 p.m. and one member of the team also did not survive.
Who was Mauri Lima
Born in 1970 in Mauá (SP), Mauri Lima lived in Indaiatuba and was married to SBT presenter Andrea Fabyanna. He was also the uncle of Sandy and Junior.
