This Christmas will be special, for example, for singer Ludmilla and dancer Brunna Gonçalves, residents of the Alphaville condominium, thanks to the arrival of Zuri, aged 6 months. And the company that usually puts up the couple’s Christmas tree made sure that sentiment was conveyed in every decoration.

— We have been assembling their tree for six years. We always try to surprise them. This year we brought back the Disney theme, due to the arrival of their little girl. And we saw the baby looking at the balls with delight. We tell stories that prepare for Christmas. It’s not just about planting trees, says Amanda Lima, marketing director for the Vivian Festas store.

Amanda says that Ludmilla and Brunna leave the creation more in the hands of the team. This year, as the singer and dancer only saw the result at the end of the editing, the surprise was guaranteed.

“There are things we keep forever, the sparkle in Zuri’s eyes when seeing her first Christmas is one of them. Seeing her reaction to discovering each little light is priceless!”, Brunna wrote on her social networks.

The couple’s and baby’s decor features elements that Amanda highlights as this year’s trends. Among them are the color red (pink is also on the rise, she says), baubles of different sizes, decorations that almost hide the green, and creating a scene beyond the tree itself, with elements that could make up a miniature city, like a toy train and a Ferris wheel. Another option are thin trees, very thin ones, which can decorate the environment with the main environment or be used in less spacious places, such as doctor’s offices.

— People used to put a lot of lights on their porches. Now, instead of being outward-focused, it is more inward-focused and focused on the family itself. People want to have cozy Christmas corners, which have everything to do with that end-of-year spirit — says Amanda.

Larissa Manoela and André Luiz Frambach also usually use the services of Vivian Festas. But unlike Ludmila and Brunna, the actor couple likes to choose the theme and actively participate in making the Christmas decorations for their house.

—Last year, when they got married, we did something that referenced that. Every year, we compose the decoration according to the moment our customers are experiencing — explains decorator Amanda Lima.

Actor Cauã Reymond is proud of this year’s Christmas decorations at his home in Joá. But contrary to what Amanda points out as the trend, she invested in blue to compose the scene, also using bright stars throughout the tree – an element also present in Ludmilla and Brunna’s house. The actor also used tree-shaped ornaments to compose the space, as well as a Santa doll dressed in blue, which he highlighted in a separate photo, published on his networks.

A resident of Barra and with an office in the neighborhood, architect and interior designer Letícia Monteiro says the challenge is to integrate Christmas decorations into the natural environment of the house, in addition to organizing the family’s emotional memory objects. To achieve this, she specializes in psychology applied to architecture and uses a briefing method that she calls therapy of the moment:

— We must be careful and empathetic to carefully reposition the pieces. Each year, Christmas decor moves closer to the aesthetic of the home itself, adding specific elements to bring the festive mood of the season. People have tried to move away from the obvious green and red decoration, with different aesthetics, bringing the rustic, bohemian and natural to Christmas.

It is a minimalist decoration, integrated into the environment, that Flamengo footballer Giorgian de Arrascaeta installed in his home. Unlike his neighbor Ludmilla, he and his wife, Camila Bastiani, created a tree without hangings. The focus was on lights, which were woven through the branches to provide special illumination during the festive night. On the networks, the couple published a series of photos. In some cases, this lighting serves to highlight the silhouette of the two, in particular the belly of Camila, pregnant with the Uruguayan athlete’s first child.

— This one is more minimalist, but has more bows, which totally represents her personality. It is a more mature tree.

Even though he spends more time in Madrid than in Rio de Janeiro, Real Madrid footballer Vini Jr. has already installed a tree in his house in Barra, where he welcomes his new girlfriend, digital influencer and businesswoman Virginia Fonseca. — If you pay attention to the stories that Ludmilla told, for example, you will notice that certain elements of the Christmas decoration appear from time to time in the background — says Amanda.

Interior designer and artist at the Laviz decoration store, on Avenida Ayrton Senna, Vanessa Lavi gives some advice for decorating the end of the year at home:

— This year, we opted for smaller decorations to decorate the tables, the buffets and the entrance hall. Embroidered towels for the bathroom, for example, add a special touch to the decoration. And for those who love art and dare the theme, the colorful resin and acrylic bears that I develop can stand out in the composition with other Christmas elements. I love making this mixture.

Those who have devoted their end-of-year finances to other expenses don’t need to spend a lot of money on new decorations or hiring professionals to have a cozy corner at home. Letícia Monteiro gives some tips for creating charming Christmas decorations, with objects purchased in other years and pieces already present in the house:

— The most fun is to use the same pieces, but in different places and compositions. For example, if you usually install a nativity scene above the sideboard, you can try moving it to a shelf or coffee table, mounting it inside a glass dome, or on another tray. A garland usually hung on the door can become a centerpiece. Showing creativity and moving away from standards and commonplaces brings original and super charming results. When essence is the basis of choices, all the pieces speak and harmonize with each other.
