Interruptions in energy supplies in several regions of São Paulo have caused a significant increase in the search for emergency solutions. Tecnogera, a company specializing in temporary and continuous production, has recorded an increase of more than 300% in demand for generators in the last 24 hours.
According to the company, the flow of contacts by telephone, email and WhatsApp was even more intense early in the morning, being more than 500% higher than the usual average for the same period. The spike occurred shortly after the electrical instability began, reflecting an immediate rush for emergency assistance.
According to Maysa Calmona, communications manager at Tecnogera, the emergency plan was quickly activated. “We have strengthened our service and logistics teams to ensure an immediate response to the sudden growth in demand,” he says. She adds that, even with a significant increase, the volume could have been greater. “Adherence to energy insurance, which provides for the anticipated subcontracting of producers, has reduced the urgency of certain requests during drops in supply,” he explains.
Tecnogera emphasizes that it maintains a permanent structure to act in moments of electrical instability, supported by the experience accumulated in previous episodes. In October 2024, during a massive outage in the capital, the company saw a 1,000% increase in calls in a short period of time.
For the company, this history strengthens its ability to respond quickly, both in emergency services and in planned operations, providing support to corporate and residential customers and essential services.
