Influencer and lawyer Deolane Bezerra took to social media this Wednesday (12/24) to mourn the death of Tainara Souza Santos, 30, the woman who was run over and dragged by her ex in São Paulo and who had both legs amputated.
Before Tainara’s death this Christmas Eve, Deolane told his supporters that he would provide financial assistance to Tainara, who was raising two children, a 12-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl, on her own.

“She was a warrior and she fought to the end. What a shame our dreams didn’t come to fruition, Miss Tay. May your Heavenly Father receive you,” Deolane lamented.
Tainara had been hospitalized at the Hospital das Clínicas (HC) in São Paulo for almost a month, where she underwent a tracheotomy, facial reconstruction plastic surgery and the amputation of two legs. She died this Wednesday, following multiple organ failure.
At the time, the influencer and A Fazenda alumna reported reaching out to the victim’s family to provide financial support for her and her children.
Tainara’s mother calls for justice
Lúcia Aparecida da Silva, mother of Tainara Souza, confirmed the death of her daughter to her supporters who began to accompany the family in seeking justice in this case.
“It is with great pain that I come to announce to you that our little warrior, Tay, has left us. She has been resting,” said the mother, in a publication on Instagram stories. “She has just left this cruel world and is with God. It is an immense pain, but the suffering is over, and now it is time to seek justice,” she lamented.
The accused in the crime is Douglas Alves da Silva, 26, arrested in a hotel in eastern São Paulo on November 30, a few hours after the crime.
“Another attempted femicide. Let’s go in search of justice,” wrote Fabio Costa, one of the young woman’s lawyers, also on social networks. The vigil will take place this Thursday (12/25) in São Paulo.
