Former couple shows unity by celebrating family date, putting their children first
Singer Ivete Sangalo, 53 years old and nutritionist Daniel Cady40 years old, surprised the public by spending Christmas side by side this Wednesday (24), less than a month after announcing the end of their marriage which lasted 17 years. Despite the breakup, the two men showed that their relationship continues to be marked by respect and harmony, bringing the family together to celebrate this meeting in an atmosphere of brotherhood and affection.
The meeting took place in the presence of the couple’s three children: Marcelo16 years old, and the twins Marina and Helena, 7 years old. Photos shared on social media showed Ivete and Daniel interacting in a natural and smiling way with their children and other family members, conveying a feeling of closeness and normalcy, even in a moment that could be delicate.
“We celebrate the birth of Christ by sharing love. A Merry Christmas! Much love and peace to us all”the singer wrote on her social networks, reinforcing the importance of family unity and the celebration of love and peace.
The decision to celebrate together reinforces the mature stance they both took when announcing their separation on November 27. On this occasion, Ivete and Daniel released an official statement in which they said: “We remain united on what really matters: preserving our affection and the well-being of our children”. This statement emphasized that, despite the end of the marriage, the family bond and priority to children remain intact.
In recent years, the couple has demonstrated a routine marked by mutual assistance and constant presence in the lives of their children, which partly explains the harmony observed at Christmas. Also in December, before the festivities, Ivete and Daniel were seen together during a school presentation by twins Marina and Helena, emphasizing that friendly and collaborative coexistence remains strong even after the end of the marital relationship.
Daniel Cady began his relationship with Ivete in 2008, and in 2011 they made their union official in an intimate ceremony in Salvador, surrounded by family and close friends. During nearly two decades together, the couple built a story marked by personal and professional achievements, as well as memorable moments shared with their children.
Christmas 2025 therefore served as an example that, even in the face of significant changes in personal life, it is possible to maintain respect, friendship and family care, preserving the well-being of children and strengthening the bonds that really matter.
