Mariângela Fialek, former advisor to MP Arthur Lira (PP), target of a Federal Police operation this Friday (12/12), was excluded from any activity or action related to the parliamentary amendments by order of Minister Flávio Dino, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF). PGR was in favor of the operation targeting the former advisor of Lira
The General Prosecutor’s Office (PGR) was in favor of launching the operation. When consulted, the agency indicated that there was sufficient investigative evidence to justify the searches and seizures.
Paulo Gonet, Attorney General of the Republic, stressed that the testimonies of parliamentarians demonstrated the necessity of the operation.
Speaking about the investigation, Arthur Lira told Metropolises that “it is wrong to say that it is a question of looking for deviations from the amendments before investigating”.
“She is a spectacular budgetary technician, there is nothing in her life that discredits her. She is a domestic worker who works for all parties, from the right, from the left, from the PT to the PSOL,” said Lira.
