The Los Angeles police are investigating the circumstances of the death which occurred at the filmmaker’s residence, located in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood.

Two people were found dead this Sunday 14, in a mansion in the south of California belonging to the director and actor Rob Reinerknown for films like When Harry Met Sally. The information was broadcast by local channel NBCLA and confirmed by other American media.
According to firefighters Los Angelesa man and a woman, approximately 78 and 68 years old, were found dead inside the residence. The identities of the victims were not officially released until this report was last updated.
Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division were assigned to investigate the circumstances of the deaths. So far, authorities have not reported the cause or whether there is evidence of a crime.
Real estate records indicate that the house, located in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood, is owned by Rob Reiner and his wife, information confirmed by neighbors to NBC.
Reiner rose to prominence as an actor playing Michael “Meathead” Stivic in the 1970s series All in the Family. He then solidified his career as a director, focusing on the mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap (1984) and the romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally (1989), starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan./AFP
