Just like Shawn and Bruna, the Claudia Meireles column would like to be in the stronghold, nicknamed the Brazilian Caribbean. Located on the northern coast of Alagoas, the Rota Ecológica dos Milagres covers approximately 23 kilometers of beaches, divided into three municipalities, namely Porto das Pedras, São Miguel dos Milagres and Passo de Camaragibe.

An unconditional fan of the destination, the column will “draw the sardines” from two beaches in particular: the “beautiful” São Miguel dos Milagres and Patacho.

The warm water of São Miguel dos Milagres beach has become an attraction for tourists, especially those who fear the freezing water. The natural corner evokes the atmosphere of a desert island by conveying tranquility. Remember that the place is difficult to access, 100 kilometers from Maceió and 40 kilometers from Maragogi.
In the village of Tatuamanha, there is the sanctuary of the manatees, an animal threatened with extinction. On this occasion, tourists can see the mammal, learn more about the history of the species and talk about conservation with the guides, in addition to taking a raft ride through the mangroves.

2. Patacho Beach
Ranked among the most beautiful in the country, Patacho Beach has already served as the scene for a popular New Year’s Eve party until 2023. Located in the town of Porto das Pedras, 115 kilometers from Maceió, the resort looks like a movie set, with translucent waters and sumptuous coconut trees all around. It is worth mentioning that paradise has the second largest coral reef in the world.
For tourists who are in the area or about to enjoy the new destination, here are some tips from the chronicle: It is a mandatory stop to take a look at the viewpoint and lighthouse of Porto de Pedras, built during World War II, in 1933. At the tourist site, visitors enjoy the panoramic view of the city.
