Disney arrives for the first time in Latin America with a dedicated theme park with free access, a proposal inspired by the experiences that the company usually offers in Miami and other cities around the world.
The event will take place in December 2025 and will transform an iconic public space in Brazil into a completely magical environment for the whole family
Where will the new Disney theme park be in Latin America?
The first park of its kind in the region will be built in Curitiba, the capital of the state of Paraná. The city was chosen because of its tradition Christmas parties, its cultural infrastructure and its capacity to host large events.
Between December 5 and 23, 2025, Barigüi Park will be intervened with decorations, sculptures, special lighting and interactive spaces designed to create an immersive experience.
What attractions does the free Disney park in Brazil offer?
The proposal will occupy an area of almost 78,000 m2, with a Thematic tour. Highlights include:
- Light tunnel with an immersive atmosphere
- Sculptures and structures for photographs
- a 35 meter high Christmas tree
- a huge figure of Mickey Mouse 6 meters
- decorated spaces inspired by iconic films

Which activities are reimbursed as part of the event?
The calendar contains one main show called Disney celebrates: A Christmas to remembera show with more than 30 artists, original music, special effects and staging in the style of major international stages.
The performances will take place between December 16th and 23rd at an event center near the park. Tickets were sold online and several dates sold out quickly, although agreements with local authorities made a quota of popular tickets available.
How to get to the park and the outdoor cinema?
Access to Magic Park is completely free, advance reservation is recommended due to high demand. The programming also includes the Disney+ Open Air, an open-air cinema with daily screenings of classic films from the catalog.

The city has a long history of Christmas events, adequate infrastructure and is known as one of the most important cultural centers in the south of Brazil.
