Customers will be able to pay their water bill up to date, with reductions in interest and fines.
The physical service stations of the Municipal Directorate of Water and Sanitation (Dmae) will resume service for debt renegotiation this Monday 29. Customers will be able to update their water bill, with reductions on interest and fines, by sending a message to (51) 3289-9156.
Until Tuesday 30, it will be possible to request help in the units of the Historic Center (Rua José Montaury, 159) and Partenon (Rua Prof. Cristiano Fischer, 2402), from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, the stations will be closed from Thursday 31 and will not reopen until January 5.
Catch up with Dmae – Customers benefiting from the Social Tariff benefit from 100% exemption from fines, interest and monetary regularizations, provided they have their last three invoices up to date. Failing this, a deposit equivalent to the value of the five most recent invoices will be required.
Other consumers benefit from progressive reductions:
- 90% for cash payment;
- 85% for payments in six installments maximum;
- 80% for payments in 12 installments maximum;
- 40% for payments up to 60 payments.
