Dorival Junior commented: “We had a lot of difficulties throughout the tournament, I’m not lying. These difficulties were exacerbated by everything that happened throughout the year, and you (the press) followed that. I’ll be honest with you: the difficulties we had here this year, I haven’t had them in any club.”

Even with the difficulties, the Corinthians coach confirmed that Timo is going through a different moment than what happened in previous editions of the Brazilian League.
“However, at no time were we close to the relegation zone. It is completely different from what happened in the last three editions of the tournament, this year, on the contrary, we were not close in any way. It is a team that has its needs, and it needs pieces to strengthen them. I have never hidden that, but it has not happened,” Dorival concluded.
With this draw, Corinthians occupies ninth place with 46 points, in the classification zone of the Copa Sudamericana. In the 37th round of the Brazilian League, Timão visits Fortaleza on Wednesday (12/3), at 7 pm, at Arena Castelao.
