Corinthians could have a roster change for will face Vasco this Sunday (21), at 6 p.m. (Brasilia time), at the Maracanã, during the second match of the Copa do Brasil final. After all, coach Dorival Júnior removed Rodrigo Garro from the starting lineup, placing three midfielders on the field.
The coach was not satisfied with the team’s performance in the first match, the 0–0 draw at the Neo Química Arena. So, in training this Saturday (20), the last before the trip to Rio de Janeiro, Dorival put Maycon in place of the Argentine midfielder.
Thus, number 7 formed the midfield trio with Martínez and Raniele. Breno Bidon was tasked with preparing the game for attackers Yuri Alberto and Memphis Depay. In fact, the rest of the team is the same one that started the match in Itaquera.
Dorival Júnior must therefore send the following team to the field: Hugo Souza; Matheuzinho, André Ramalho, Gustavo Henrique and Matheus Bidu; Raniele, José Martínez, Maycon and Breno Bidon; Memphis Depay and Youri Alberto.
Garro suffered from physical problems in 2025
This season, Garro suffered from numerous physical problems, which led him to travel to Europe to accelerate the treatment of a knee injury right after the Campeonato Paulista. Thus, he has only scored two goals this season, in addition to six assists.
The midfielder was also injured in the home stretch of the Brasileirão, missing a few important matches. Against Cruzeiro, in the semi-final of the Brazilian Cup, he was on the bench and started in the first match against Vasco.
