A transgender woman, identified as Rihanna Alves (featured photo)aged 18, was killed by a 19-year-old enforcement driver last Saturday evening (12/06). The man took the body to the police station, confessed to the crime, but was released to answer freely for the murder.
The crime allegedly occurred while the driver and the victim were traveling in a car towards the municipality of Luís Eduardo Magalhães. They had left Barreiras.
In his testimony, the suspect reported that he had hired the woman for a sex program, but that, after a disagreement, he delivered a “rear naked choke” blow to the victim.
He then went to the police station and presented the body of the young woman, which was in the trunk of the vehicle.
Bahia state civil police said the Luís Eduardo Magalhães territorial police station was investigating the femicide.
“The suspect, aged 19, was questioned and remains at large, as he spontaneously presented himself to the police unit and confessed to the crime,” he explained.
“The human being full of light”
Through social networks, Drycka Santana, 20 years old, Rihanna’s sister, spoke about the death of the young woman. “They didn’t take the life of a simple person, they took the life of a human being full of light; everyone who knew her knew the love and care she had for everyone around her,” he explained.
“They took my sister for nothing. I bet in***l is looking at my posts on the couch at home laughing,” he said.
To finance the wake and burial of the young woman, the family organized a fundraiser. The funeral ceremony has not yet been scheduled.
The PCBA also informed that expert guides have been issued, the reports of which will complement the investigations to conclude the investigation.
