
A drunk driver without a national driving license (CNH) was arrested for knocking down a municipal civil guard (GCM), Friday evening (12/19), in Rio Claro, interior of São Paulo. The driver ignored a “Stop” sign and threw the officer into the crash.
Images obtained by Metropolises captured the action. In security camera video, it is possible to see GCM motorcycles crossing an intersection, when one of them is hit by a Vectra model vehicle. The motorcyclist was thrown approximately 10 meters from the point of collision, while the driver of the car was not injured.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called and the victim was transported to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in the Estádio neighborhood, where she remained under medical observation. The guard was not injured or seriously injured.

The driver of the Vectra showed signs of intoxication and his condition was confirmed after a breathalyzer test. He was accompanied by his partner and his daughter and was arrested in flagrante delicto.
Additionally, it was found that the driver did not have a driving license. He was taken to the police station and will face charges of battery while operating a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and driving without a license.
