As the deputy did not make the spontaneous payment, Salabert requested that he be ordered to pay exactly R$65,522.29, the present value of the debt. If payment is not made within 15 days, the parliamentarian requests a 10% fine.
Nikolas’ defense took the case to the Superior Court of Justice, but the appeal was not accepted. In June 2025, the Fourth Collegium of the STJ rejected the appeal and also increased the legal fees in favor of Duda by 10%. There are no more resources available since August.
