The young Kelly Larissa Chiele, aged 26, died in the parking lot of the condominium, after feeling chest pains and trying to get out of the car alone to go to the hospital, in Itajaí (SC). The affair occurred on Monday (12/22) and had repercussions this Friday (12/26). The cause of death remains under investigation by police.
According to records, firefighters were called Monday at 12:35 p.m. Initially, it was reported that the young woman was unconscious. While on their way to the condominium where Kelly was, firefighters received new information that she was possibly in cardiopulmonary arrest.
Arriving on the scene, emergency services found the young woman unconscious, surrounded by residents of the condominium and “without a palpable pulse”. One of the neighbors, according to the incident, tried cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, but to no avail. The firefighters resumed work and confirmed the cardiorespiratory arrest.
At that point, basic resuscitation protocol began, with chest compressions, ventilation with supplemental oxygen, and the use of an external defibrillator. Faced with the lack of response, the firefighters called the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) for medical intervention.
Even with both teams on site, there was no return of spontaneous circulation. Kelly’s death was confirmed after nearly an hour of maneuvers and resuscitation attempts.
Complaints from previous days
The family informed firefighters that the young woman had no known history of illness. However, the week before her death, she complained of weakness, shortness of breath and chest pain.
On the day of her death, Kelly Larissa Chiele was at her mother-in-law’s house. Faced with discomfort, the young woman left the apartment with the intention of going to the nearest emergency care unit (UPA). However, upon entering the car, she suffered a fainting spell and was removed from the car to receive treatment.
On social networks, friends and family paid tribute to him. The young woman’s boyfriend, Pedro Henrique wrote: “I will never forget your smile and your eyes, my love. Be at peace wherever you are, pray for us and guide my steps. We will all miss you very much.”
