Embraer reported this Tuesday (23) that, on November 26, 2025, it signed an instrument with the airline Azul through which it renegotiated the instruments initially signed within the framework of the total firm order for 51 E195-E2 aircraft, placed between 2014 and 2018.
Among other terms and conditions, the parties agreed to modify the firm order from 51 to 25 aircraft.
The renegotiation takes place as part of Azul’s restructuring plan, under discussion as part of the receivership process in the United States. The instrument was approved by the court at a hearing on December 18, 2025, and the court order was issued on December 22, 2025.
