
The drunk man who fled on foot from a traffic stop was only subdued with the help of four officers from the Traffic Department (Detran-DF). He was arrested after evading inspection at QNM on 08/10 (watch video above), in Ceilândia (DF), Sunday (14/12).
According to information from Detran-DF, the driver even reached his waist, suggesting that he could pull out a weapon. After resisting and failing to comply, he was struck with a stun gun (taser) used by agents.

Even after the intervention, the driver attempted to flee on foot towards a nearby bar, but was caught and restrained by the four officers. Military police were also called and helped restrain the man.
The driver was taken to Police Station 15 (Ceilândia Centro) and subjected to an examination at the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML), which revealed an alcohol level that constitutes a traffic offense.
Operation
Between Friday (12/12) and Sunday, Detran-DF, with the support of the Military Police (PMDF), carried out Operation Happy Holidays in the regions of Ceilândia, Itapoã, Paranoá, Santa Maria and Taguatinga.
During enforcement actions, 61 drivers were fined for driving under the influence of alcohol. In total, 992 breathalyzer tests were carried out. Two drivers were taken to the police station for a blood alcohol level constituting a traffic offense.
In addition, officers fined ten disqualified drivers, 13 for driving vehicles with irregular exhaust, 12 with their National Driving License (CNH) expired more than 30 days ago and 98 for various offenses, totaling 194 cases.
