If major events move entire cities, those who work in the entertainment sector know: good ideas are not enough: you need strategy, storytelling and experience. A crowded stage is no accident; It’s a construction site. And, on December 15, Metropolises turns Rio de Janeiro into the stage for a special meeting on the subject.
The free “Rio that Enchants the World” event will bring together some of the most influential minds in national entertainment to reveal what’s behind the events that move crowds and inject millions of dollars into Brazil’s creative economy.
Offered by the government of Rio de Janeiro, the event is free with registration. Promotional actions will be organized with gifts and coffee breaks for participants.

Tardezinha: the musical experience that has become a brand
In the second panel of the day, the event highlights one of the biggest powers in Brazilian entertainment: Tardezinha.
Guests at the discussion were Rafael Zulu, the businessman who created Tardezinha; and Rafael Liporace, co-founder and CEO of Tardezinha.
Rafael Zulu is an entrepreneur, co-creator and strategic force behind Tardezinha. Zulu helped transform the pagoda event into a brand that moves thousands of people, creates jobs and has become an “exportable experience.”
Rafael Liporace is an entrepreneur and one of the most influential promotional marketing figures in the country. Liporace is co-founder of Tardezinha alongside singer Thiaguinho, having been directly involved in the project’s expansion. She has accumulated national and international awards, as well as recognition in the world of the creative economy.
Why is Tardezinha a case study?
Those who follow from afar may imagine Tardezinha as nothing more than a spectacle. But, for experts in the field, the project constitutes a turning point in Brazilian entertainment and shows that the country is capable of exporting first-rate cultural experiences and not just artists.
The strength of the event lies in the tripod that made the brand recognized nationally with nostalgia, contemporary Brazilian and sensory experience.
The formula is simple and powerful: it is not a spectacle; it’s a feeling. And feelings, when packaged well, travel better than any product.
The panel therefore promises to reveal how this concept developed to the point of attracting the interest of the national and international public.
