The shipping company Ocean Network Express (ONE) reached a milestone in Latin America and especially in Argentina: the arrival of the ship ONE Strength on its maiden voyage.
This vessel, a 14,000 teus Neo-Panamax (unit equivalent to a 20-foot container), operates on the SX1 service between Asia and the east coast of Latin Americarepresents more than a simple increase in capacity. It is evidence of investment in the future of the sustainable fleet, a fundamental pillar of the 2030 plan promoted by the Japanese company.
“At ONE, the Operational excellence and sustainability leadership are integrated goals“And ONE Strength reaffirms our commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2050,” he emphasized. Fernando MaggiPresident of ONE Argentina.
Exolgan, the port that received this colossus of the sea, was at the height of events: it provided six gantry cranes that worked on the dock at the same time, a case never seen before in container logistics in Argentina.

The operation at Exolgan highlights the importance of Dredging and expansion of the maneuvering areas in the port of Dock Sud. The ability to receive vessels of this size, which require precise tidal windows and millimeter-level logistical coordination, positions the terminal as a competitive hub compared to other regional hubs such as Santos or Montevideo.
Fernando Maggi took the opportunity to thank in particular the port authorities, the Exolgan terminal and all its employees and, above all, its local teams.

“The successful launch of ONE Strength and the operational excellence we strive for are the result of the dedicated work and collaboration of all of you on the East Coast of South America,” said Maggi.
Likewise, the president of ONE Argentina reiterated the shipping company’s focus on Innovation, quality and environmental responsibility.
“We will continue to drive the transformation of the sector, leveraging our modern fleet and digital solutions to ensure maximum operational excellence and the lowest possible environmental impact. Thank you for joining us on this journey. Count on ONE to navigate towards a greener and more efficient future,” he said.
