Father Fábio de Melo has long been indignant against the faithful who are demanding his expulsion from the church. He says many believe he is unsuitable for the role of priest in the Catholic Church.
“Many continue to believe that I am not fit for this position. They demand my expulsion, they say that I am a disgrace to the Church. I understand. I am also the victim of a moralism that blinds, makes it difficult to go back in time and face the fact that the HR of Jesus was the worst in history”, he says in the text.

Fábio de Melo still thanks, despite the criticism, the faithful he managed to touch during his 24 years as a priest.
“For 24 years, even though I am a man full of imperfections, I have welcomed those who pass into my life. In a special way, those who do not feel invited, those who do not enter through the front door. Only in this way can I enjoy a certain coherence,” he adds.
Finally, the Father said: “If at any time in our lives my priestly ministry had meaning for you, thank you for your trust. It was worth being who I was.”
