Fachin’s proposal, according to STF sources, envisages the development of a code of conduct based on the experience of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany, as the German Supreme Court is called.

The idea of the president of the STF is that the code provides, for example, limits or restrictions on the participation of ministers in private events, which is currently causing a lot of criticism from Brazilian magistrates.
The column reveals that Fachin’s initiative irritated some of the other ministers of the Supreme Court. Especially those in the more guarantor wing, who usually organize or participate in external events.
