At MetropolisesHelber’s sister said he was having financial problems and went to her house to talk. He left at 10:50 p.m. and, according to a witness, sat on the sidewalk for a while. A few hours later, the man sent a message to his mother saying he had recovered the money from his debts, but he stopped responding.

Family members noted that the man had a five-year-old daughter and had always been extremely present. He had arranged to pick the girl up on the 24th to spend Christmas with him, but he didn’t show up, causing even more concern.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), efforts are underway to clarify the circumstances of his disappearance and locate him.
