The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, blamed this million on the President of the Government during the control session at the Congress of Deputies for cases of harassment of women within the PSOE, among them the Moncloa exec, Francisco Salazar, accusing him of reducing them to silence. “You passed the ‘hermana, yo si te creo’ al ‘calladita estás más guapa’,” Feijóo said. “As we have seen, the course on feminism was explained to us in the brothels,” insisted the opposition leader.
Sánchez defended himself with a list of norms that “benefit women”, such as the one that makes anti-accusation protocols obligatory in companies and institutions, the law of parity or the increase in pensions or the minimum wage and criticizing the “negationist alliance” of gender violence in the PP with Vox.
“This government supports women,” challenged the president of the government. “The threat is the negation of the coalition against Abascal,” he insisted, while criticizing the PSOE for having acted against activists like Salazar, who were denounced, even if the PP found nothing in other cases of harassment of women in the party, such as in Algeciras, Estepona or Ponferrada.
Abascal, against Sánchez
The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, in turn summarized four points from the results of the year of Pedro Sánchez’s government: “corruption, ruin of public services, massive immigration and betrayal”. Sánchez responded by accusing the ultra leader of spreading lies and refuting his diagnosis on the economic successes of his government, the reduction of inequalities in Spain and the refuge of the State of Prosperity, achievements which in matters of education, health or dependency, which depend on the communities, are reduced by the PP governments supported by Vox.

“Ustedes,” says Sánchez, “offers poverty alone and condemns it to closure without the capacity to finance a healthy and strong state.” According to Abascal, Sánchez’s government is reduced to corruption, for cases that affect the Executive and the PSOE; “the ruin and collapse” of public services with young people without access to housing and “hospitals have collapsed because of the massive attention paid to immigrants”; “massive immigration and precariousness of women”; and “treason, because he does everything with the enemies of Spain to stay in power”. In this sense, I said that “Moncloa is not the place where we live, but the place where it hides, its shelter”.
Sánchez criticized the leader of Vox for not liking dialogue, because he tried to expel the ex-companions of the far-right party who had denounced him and, as a balance, he realized that it is the European country with the most growth, first in the creation of jobs, in the reduction of inequalities and in the increase in purchasing power.
“Because we are strengthening the State of good health, health, education, dependency, so many policies in the hands of the autonomous communities”. “What is happening is that the PP governments, supported by the ultraderecha close to this state of good health, have cut off public health because private health matters are on the public health waiting lists. This is what happens with their votes in the autonomous parliaments”, he stressed. He was also reminded that investment in renewable energy has reduced the electricity bill and that 95% of immigration enters Spain through regular payments.
