Concretely, the vice-secretary for institutional regeneration of the Popular Party, Cuca Gamarra, challenged the formation led by Yolanda Díaz of cause a “government crisis” with the resignation of all Sumar ministers. “It is in his power to resign and put an end to this government, so less words and more actions,” Gamarra said.
This is how he spoke during a press conference at the party’s national headquarters, after the usual Steering Committee. “This affects not only the Government, but also its partners, who “They choose to be complicit in their corruption and the machismo that has been covered up in recent months.”Gamarra criticized all parliamentary groups that support the government, explicitly mentioning Sumar.
Furthermore, Gamarra demanded that Díaz force an appearance by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, at the Congress of Deputies before the end of the yearusing their votes at the Lower House Council meeting to be held this Tuesday. In this sense, the popular deputy secretary criticized the fact that Sánchez wants to “hide and not set foot in Congress until February.”
