The final version of the calendar will be published in March, at the end of the replay matches, which will also rank four European teams and two other teams from the rest of the world.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup has 16 host cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Kansas, Atlanta, Boston, Miami, New Jersey/New York, and Philadelphia (USA); Vancouver and Toronto (Canada); Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey (Mexico).
Boston, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Miami and Atlanta are the cities that can host Brazilian matches in the group stage.
“The match scheduling process aims to ensure the best possible conditions for all teams and spectators, while offering fans from all over the world, where possible, the opportunity to watch their teams live in different time zones,” explains FIFA, in a note about the event.
