Lizbeth Ovalle won the Marta Prize at FIFA The Best 2025. The prize is awarded to the best goal in women’s football. The then Tigres-MEX player, in a match against Chivas Guadalajara, sent the ball into the net with her heel, after receiving a long cross.

The FIFA The Best ceremony officially takes place at 2 p.m. (Brasilia time), in Doha, Qatar. However, the entity decided to reveal some names even before the start of the event, as was the case for this one.
The Mexican player left Tigres in August this year. Lizbeth was purchased by Orlando Pride, Brazilian Marta’s team, for 1.3 million euros (approximately R$8.34 million).
