FIFA elected Santiago Montiel winner of the Puskás Prize this Tuesday (16/12) at The Best. The Independiente-ARG player scored the goal chosen as the best of the season. He found the net for the Argentine club against Independiente Rivadavia, when he took a risk from outside the box, on a bicycle, and the ball went into the corner.

The 25-year-old has been playing for Independiente since August 2024. He was revealed by River Plate, but has not played for the Millionarios first team.
