By facing the Mexicans, to participate in the phase called “Derby of the Americas”, Flamengo will guarantee 1 million US dollars (5.4 million R$). If it plays in the semi-final (Challenger Cup) against Pyramids, the Brazilian team will receive an additional $2 million (R$10.8 million). If they win the title against PSG, Rubro-Negro will take home US$5 million (27.2 million reais) in total prize money.

Whoever advances in the duel between Flamengo and Cruz Azul will face Pyramids, from Egypt, on December 13. The final of the tournament will be played against PSG, current champions of the Champions League, on the 17th of the same month.
