The time has come to discover the paths to the Pre-Libertadores 2026. La Conmebol draws, this Thursday (12/18), the clashes of the preliminary phase of the tournament. The event will take place at 12:00 p.m. (Brasília time), at the headquarters of the South American entity, in Luque, Paraguay.
Botafogo and Bahia are the Brazilian teams classified in the preliminary phase of the continental tournament. The draw pots were defined according to the Conmebol ranking. Glorioso and Esquadrão de Aço only enter the second phase of the playoffs and face two knockout matches to try to secure a place in the group stage.
In addition to the draw, the table for the third phase of the playoffs will also be drawn. Bahia and Botafogo cannot meet in the second phase, but they could find themselves in a possible fight in the final stage to qualify for the group stage.

- Pot 1: Alianza Lima-PER; Deportivo Táchira-VEN and Universidad Católica-EQU.
- Pot 2: Bolivia 4 (The strongest, Blooming or San Antonio Bulo Bulo); 2 de Mayo-PAR and Juventud de Las Piedras-URU.
Phase 2:
- Pot 1: Botafogo; Sporting Cristal-PER; Guaraní-PAR; Independiente Medellín-COL; Argentine Juniors-ARG; Bahia; Huachipato-CHI; and Tolima-COL.
- Pot 2: Liverpool-URU; Carabobo-VEN; O’Higgins-CHI; Bolivia 3 (The Strongest, Blooming or Nacional Potosí); Ecuador 3 (Barcelona or LDU); Classified 1st phase (C1); Classified 1st phase (C2); and Classified 1st phase (C3).
