Yasmin Loranne Oliveira Santos, 24, for example, became the target of justice after being denounced by the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the crimes of drug trafficking and association for drug trafficking, both covered by the Drugs Act and classified as heinous. The accusation appears in the archives of the 3rd Criminal Court of Palmas, where Yasmin is accused in the same case as Matheus Costa Pinto, identified as his partner in the actions investigated.
Maritsa Ingridy da Silva Rodrigues is known by the nicknames Jheny, Rapunzel and Maribomba. She is identified by the Mato Grosso Civil Police as one of the leaders of a drug trafficking network in the municipality of Sorriso, in the north-central part of the state.
According to the investigation, Maritssa, Dandara Solana Fontinelles Ferreira and another woman, later arrested in Rio, took control of the region after the capture of their companions, who until then had been responsible for drug distribution. From then on, the trio would have started to organize the supply of towns like Nova Mutum, Lucas do Rio Verde, Sinop and Nova Ubiratã. But this progress was not limited to illegal trade: according to delegate Bruno França, young women ordered murders, participated in “criminal courts” and even hid corpses during local conflicts for territorial control.
Maritssa and Dandara were identified by civil police as fugitives during an operation launched in January 2024, when another member of the group, Maria Ciane Fontinelles, Dandara’s mother, was captured at Complexo da Maré, in Rio de Janeiro, where the group had taken refuge. From there, according to the company, the criminals continued to issue execution orders to Sorriso.
The siege ended months later, when police arrested Maritsa again during an action in Sorriso, in the Estrela do Sul neighborhood, where she controlled tobacco shops. During the approach, she attempted to break her own cell phone and distribute portions of cocaine, but ended up being arrested with drugs, precision scales, cash and materials used to package the drugs. Currently, she is on the run.
Deuzirene Cardoso da Silva, 52, was arrested preventively in 2011, denounced for alleged omission in relation to sexual abuse committed by her partner on a minor. According to the Diário de Justiça of the State of Roraima, in a 2012 edition, Hudson da Silva Viana committed sexual abuse against his own daughter, who was 11 years old at the time of the facts.
The document emphasizes that Hudson no longer lived with Deuzirene and that, according to his testimony, the criminal had convinced him to return to live with her by accepting the condition he had imposed on him to “stay” with the child. According to Hudson, Deuzirene propositioned Hudson sexually to the victim, who left school and told the story to a friend, who told the story to her mother, who, in turn, reported it to the police.
Platform that lists the most wanted criminals
The Justice Ministry launched a website Monday with information on Brazil’s 216 most wanted fugitives. Each state has indicated which criminals are a priority for arrest based on a risk matrix. Aspects such as the seriousness and nature of the crime committed, links to criminal organizations, the existence of several arrest warrants and interstate operations were assessed.
Among the fugitives on the list are Rio drug traffickers Peixão, Doca, Abelha and Lacoste, as well as bicheiro Bernardo Bello.
Anonymous reports on fugitives can be made via channels 190 and 197. According to the ministry, the initiative allows the exchange of information between states and encourages direct collaboration of the population.
The website is an offshoot of the Capture Program, a national organization whose goal is to identify, locate and arrest criminals considered highly dangerous. The ministry informed that it would install an operational cell of the organization in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
