Program presenter David Brazil sparked laughter from his followers on social media, when he posted a video clip in which he voluntarily stopped at a traffic stop, in the middle of the red line, for “extremism” from a military police officer, last Tuesday (2). In the recording, he is melted by the beauty of the agent, who, despite his discomfort, joins in the fun.

David Brazil says he met the prime minister in the video at the beginning of March, at a restaurant in Barra da Tijuca, where he and his colleagues were having lunch. At one point, the police asked to take a photo with the broadcaster, who complied.
– His friends said: “Look at this Prime Minister, David. Isn’t he a model?” I replied: “God have mercy, I feel sick, even my stuttering is gone.” I asked to do a reel with him. The video went viral – recalls David.
The two did not meet again until last Tuesday, when the announcer returned from a Grand Rio rehearsal for the 2026 Carnival and saw the agent on the blitz team.
– I saw that big man and shouted: “Robert!” Then I stopped, and he came up to me friendly and asked if I was okay. I asked to make more videos. Everything was peaceful, and everything I posted was with their (police) approval,” he says. -I like blitz. I go and play with them. When they’re nice, I talk to them and send videos to their wives who ask, or their mothers.
The prime minister who has caused the broadcaster – and his followers – a sensation is Robert Sequeira, 35, who has been with the company for seven years. If he became better known after Tuesday’s video — his number of followers went from 15,000 to 20,000 followers in less than 24 hours — he already had a legion of fans on his personal Instagram account, where he shares a bit of his personal and work life. There are moments like jiu-jitsu training, biblical services, biblical verses, and routines in the military police, such as the massive, highly publicized Operation Contenção, in the Penha and Alemão complexes, at the end of October. The images and videos are accompanied by songs by names ranging from Nirvana to Rappa, including newfangled funk DJs.
In the comments, many Internet users say that they started following the professional after seeing him on social networks of David Brazil. In the virus, although he appears uncomfortable, the Prime Minister manages to get into a cheerful mood. When David says he liked being stopped at a traffic stop, for example, he corrects him in a friendly manner, revealing that it was the presenter himself who wanted the car stopped.

When contacted by GLOBO, Robert said that David did everything on the spot, improvising, and that he himself hardly knew how to respond to the artist’s jokes.
