Maycol Frankye Alves de Almeida (featured photo), 34 years old, is one of the victims of the serious road accident which occurred on the BR-414 this Sunday morning (28/12). The victim was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a private car, at km 428, in a rural area of the municipality of Abadiânia (GO).
A resident of Anápolis, Maycol worked as a district manager for a pharmaceutical company. He leaves a wife and three children.
In several publications on social networks, he appeared behind the wheel of his motorcycle. On his Instagram profile, Maycol introduced himself as a “motorcyclist and car enthusiast.”

His death caused great emotion among friends and family, who paid tribute to the man.
“Sad day! A big loss. Human, family, full of life, young, hardworking… the best boss I have ever had in my life,” lamented a colleague.
The body of the motorcyclist was found on the side of the road by the Goiás Military Fire Brigade (CBMGO).
“My dear nephew, there are no words to describe the extent of our pain upon learning this sad news. For me, you will always be this sweet, kind and very affectionate boy. Every time I referred to you, I said how much you had become an admirable man and an exemplary father of a family. May God grant you eternal rest,” published his aunt.
According to information published by the Abadiânia pages, Maycol was traveling on the highway with a group of other motorcyclists when he suffered the accident.
“Still in disbelief!!! An excellent professional, father, husband, a unique human being!! Passionate about family and life! May God have him by his side and bring comfort and support to the hearts of his entire family,” said an acquaintance.
Collision between motorcycle and car
The serious road accident on the BR-414, involving a car and a motorcycle, left two people dead and one seriously injured.
In the accident, the drivers of both vehicles died, while the passenger of the car was seriously injured. CBMGO was called to respond to the incident and assist the victims.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, a man who has not yet been identified, was trapped in the wreck. The death was noted on the spot by firefighters. After applying vehicle rescue techniques and using extrication equipment, the body was rescued.

The car’s passenger, an 85-year-old woman, was found trapped in the wreckage. The victim was suspected of having a fracture of the left femur, a fracture of the pelvic region, a chest injury and a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
The military used vehicle rescue techniques, using extrication equipment, in addition to pre-hospital care procedures, to rescue the victim, who was transported to the emergency room of the Estadual de Anápolis Dr. Henrique Santillo Hospital (HEANA).
The bodies were entrusted to the care of the Federal Road Police (PRF) and the concessionaire Ecovias.
The car involved was a Volkswagen Gol model. Its facade was completely destroyed. We do not yet know what the dynamics of the accident were.
The concessionaire responsible for the section, Ecovias Araguaia, said the highway had been fully opened to traffic in the afternoon.
