Created in 2013, Inovacred offers repayable financing with resources from the National Scientific and Technological Development Fund (FNDCT), with reduced interest rates and longer durations. This year, the cost of financing is set at a benchmark rate above 6.068% per annum and a payment term of up to 96 months, including grace period.
The program is run by around thirty financial agents, responsible for analyzing and monitoring projects. Items such as equipment, software, infrastructure, labor and specialized services can be funded.
In 2025, more than 500 million reais have been allocated to projects in the North, Northeast and Center-West regions. Of the total planned for the first half of 2026, 30% of resources will be reserved for companies in these regions.
According to the president of Finep, Luiz Antônio Elias, the expansion of credit aims to guarantee the continuity of investments in innovation.
