
This Friday (26/12), firefighters from Maringá (PR) captured a boa constrictor that was hiding behind an air conditioner in the backyard of a residence in Jardim São Silvestre. The action was led by Corporal Érico Macri and, after its capture, the animal was taken to the barracks and then sent to the Maringá Wild Animal Care Center.

This is the second case reported in a few days involving snakes in the city. On Tuesday evening (23/12), a similar incident mobilized the Jardim Higienópolis firefighters, when a snake, apparently coral, was found in the area of a residence on Rua Pioneiro João Benedito da Silva.
