Flamengo and Cruzeiro distinguished themselves during the Brasileirão Awards, organized by the CBF, Monday evening (08). Cariocas and Minas Gerais each had four representatives in the ideal championship team.
The team played 4-4-2, with Flamengo’s Rossi in goal. The teams had Paulo Henrique, from Vasco, on the right, and Reinaldo, from Mirassol, on the left. In defense, Fabrício Bruno and Léo Pereira won the awards. The midfield was also dominated by the Reds and Blues, with Jorginho, Lucas Romero, Matheus Pereira and Arrascaeta. In attack, Vitor Roque appeared as representative of Palmeiras and top scorer Kaio Jorge, of Cruzeiro. Rafael Guanaes, from Mirassol, was the championship coach.
Due to next week’s commitments, Flamengo and Cruzeiro players were unable to attend the CBF awards ceremony. After all, the Rouge et Noir are preparing to compete in the Intercontinental Cup in Doha, Qatar. The Azulinos will take the field in the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil.
