Flamengo management is betting on the willingness of striker Kaio Jorge to defend the red and black colors to overcome Cruzeiro’s resistance to accepting the proposal sent by the player.
Raposa says she would only accept a deal worth around 50 million euros (326 million reais). But Flamengo is trying to seduce Kaio Jorge so that Brazil’s top scorer in 2025 will force a sale.
The offer sent to Cruzeiro is 30 million euros (R$186 million). In another model, the club agrees to include Everton Cebolinha and a lower amount.
Flamengo learned from their rival that they had not accepted both offers, but would wait for businessman Pedro Lourenço to give a new price for Kaio Jorge, which cost 40 million reais paid to Juventus.
