The Governor of São Paulo was with the Minister of the Supreme Federal Court at an SBT event
Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), who announced last week his pre-candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic, commented on the presence of the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), at the SBT event, in which the Minister of the Supreme Federal Court, Alexandre de Moraes, also participated.
“He was invited in an institutional condition. He went and used his word, but this question of pretending that everything is normal in Brazil bothers me. This meeting as if nothing had happened, as if Bolsonaro was not unjustly imprisoned”, said Flávio in an interview with the YouTube channel LeoDias TV, this Monday 15.
“There is this part of him that applauds Alexandre de Moraes. When I see Tarcísio’s face applauding, he is completely uncomfortable. It’s not applause okay, it’s protocol. I wouldn’t applaud. If I had been there, I would have gotten up and left. I wouldn’t stand there listening to this pile of lies and hypocrisy,” added the senator.
During the interview, the son of former President Jair Bolsonaro reaffirmed that he would run for President of the Republic and promised to be a more moderate version of his father. “People will see a more centered Bolsonaro. They’ve always demanded a lot of that: ‘ah, Bolsonaro could talk less’.”
Flávio pointed out that he was chosen by his father as a pre-candidate for the presidency and said that this did not cause any division in the Bolsonaro family, even assuring that he had good relations with former first lady Michelle. “I’m the son who gets along best with Michelle. I don’t have any problems. I think she’s a very important asset.”
