Fluminense confirms injuries to two players

Fluminense confirmed striker’s injuries Soteldo and the middle Hercules. According to the club, Soteldo suffered from a problem in the left anterior thigh muscle, while Hércules was diagnosed with an injury to the left thigh adductor muscle. Both underwent imaging tests which confirmed the severity of the bruises.

Both players have already started treatment with the Tricolor medical department, who will take a conservative approach to recovery. The club did not disclose detailed timelines, but stressed that injuries require a prolonged rehabilitation period, with daily monitoring and periodic reassessments throughout the process.

As a result, Soteldo and Hércules will no longer play for Fluminense this season and are only expected to return to the pitch in 2026. The club are still competing for a place in the Copa do Brasil final against Vasco, if they qualify they will face Corinthians in the final two matches of the season.
