According to information published by the Central Bank (BC) this Tuesday (12/9), approximately 9.92 billion reais are still available for reimbursement via the system of values receivable (SVR). Data refers to October 2025.
Through this service it is possible to check if individuals or companies have money “forgotten” in banks, consortia or other financial institutions.
According to BC, R$7.73 billion is available to individuals, while R$2.19 billion can be reimbursed by businesses.
In total, more than 48.7 million Brazilians and 4.9 million businesses can redeem this money.
To date, according to the BC, 12.6 billion reais of “forgotten” resources in financial institutions have already been returned.
Initially, the deadline for redeeming resources would expire on October 16, 2024. Recently, the Ministry of Finance informed that there is no deadline for customers to seek resources from financial institutions.

Automatic redemption request
Since May 27, according to the BC, it is possible to activate an automatic request for repurchase of debts. Subscribing to the new service is optional and all other system features remain the same.
“The aim is to make life even easier for citizens, who will not need to periodically consult the system or manually register the request for each amount that exists in their name,” informed the BC.
How to order
- Access the System of Receivable Values (SRV) website during the withdrawal period indicated during the first consultation. If you forget the dates, you can return to the system in the summary.
- Log in to your gov.br account (silver or gold level). If you do not have an account at one of the two levels, continue registering or increase the security level (in the case of bronze accounts) on the site or in the Gov.br application.
- Read and accept the disclaimer.
- Check the amount to be received, the institution that must return the amount and the origin (type) of the amount to be received.
- Choose the option, among those indicated by the system: “Request here”, to return the amount via Pix, within 12 working days; or “Request via institution”, intended for users who do not have Pix.
Money to receive
The BC specifies that the forgotten amounts concern:
- Closed checking or savings account with available balance.
- Capital quotas and distribution of net surpluses of former participants in credit unions.
- Unsought resources from dissolved consortium groups.
- Fees billed incorrectly.
- Deposits or credit transaction fees charged.
- Prepaid or postpaid payment accounts closed and with an available balance.
- Record accounts maintained by brokers and dealers closed with available balance.
- Other resources available at establishments for reimbursements.
