The title of the 60th Paraná Cup was not decided on the pitch. The final of the amateur tournament, played this Saturday (13), ended prematurely after a sequence of violent episodes that compromised security at the José Carlos de Oliveira Sobrinho stadium, in the Novo Mundo district, in Curitiba.
HEAVEN BROTHER
Bill – former Botafogo, Coxa, Santos and Ceará striker – beat in the Paraná Cup final and is UNCONSCIOUS.
The players started fighting and not only did a nasty fight break out, but they also opened the door to the fans.

The match between Capão Raso and Trieste was already in penalties when the referee decided to end the match. Referee Lucas Paulo Torezin affirmed that there were no minimum conditions for continuity following the invasion of fans and widespread attacks involving athletes.
Two Trieste players, striker Bill, who played for Coritiba, and defender Jair, required medical attention and were taken to hospital. Initial reports indicate that both lost consciousness during the confusion, but later woke up. As of now, there is no confirmation as to who is directly responsible for these attacks.
Before the interruption, the confrontation remained balanced within the four lines. After a 1-1 draw in the first game of the final, the teams repeated the score in regulation time. Jhow scored for Capão Raso, while Feijão scored for Trieste. On penalties, Capão Raso won 3-2 after nine penalties when the match was stopped.
According to some reports, the trigger for the confusion was an exchange of provocations between players, which quickly evolved into physical aggression. The situation spiraled out of control when fans of the home team forced their way onto the pitch, increasing the atmosphere of tension. No police were present at the time of the invasion.
With the field occupied and no guarantee of security, the Trieste athletes left the field in haste, some jumping over the stadium wall, others seeking refuge in the locker rooms. Faced with this scenario, the referee decided to definitively end the match.
It will now be up to the Paraná Sports Court to define the outcome of the competition. The Paraná Football Federation has yet to release the official summary of the clash, and none of the teams involved have made any public comments so far.
